Top submissions will be displayed at the event, and selected authors will have the chance to share their work live at the mic.

Meet CITRUSS – our live presenters at the OpenMic event. 🎤

CITRUSS is a local teen band known for their original music, delivered in a fresh indie-pop sound with authentic energy.
Despite starting just over a year ago, they have already gained striking popularity, with over 38k followers on Instagram () and 51k followers on TikTok (). ✨

We are excited to announce that IndigoTeen Magazine has officially been assigned an ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) by the National Library of Australia.

An ISSN is a unique international identifier used by libraries, databases, and publishers worldwide to recognise and catalogue serial publications such as magazines and journals.

This means that IndigoTeen is now formally registered as a continuing publication and can be archived, cited, and indexed as part of the global publishing system.

For our young writers and artists, this is an important milestone — your creative work is now being published in a recognised magazine that can be held in national library collections.

Thank you to everyone who has supported IndigoTeen and contributed their creativity to our growing community.

We’re excited to share some great news: IndigoTeen Magazine has received a small promotional grant from Lake Macquarie City Council.

We hope to welcome even more young writers and artists next year — and to see even more creativity, inspiration, and confidence growing through the support of our amazing team.
