Australian Pottery Supplies

Australian Pottery Supplies Australian Pottery Supplies is an Australian owned company currently selling all pottery equioment including kilns, as well as stocking supplies.

We run classes and host events for corporate and schools, beginner clases through to advanced wheel and hand. Australian Pottery Supplies is expanding and looking for locally made and produced equipment to sell on our store. We are currently building our online store and new website and thank you for your patience while we do this. Although we are based in Torquay, Victoria, we service all of Aust

ralia and are happy to ship any equipment. We also pick up stock in Melbourne and are happy to organise Spotswood as an alternative pick up location. There may also be other options available. We pride ourselves in customer service and experience. We are also wishing to create a community on our page of video's of how to's and information based around learning about clay and all that it involves! If there is anything you would like explained or more information about, please get in touch and we will aim to pop up a video or blog about it! Australian Pottery Supplies Founder, Prue Morrison, started her love of ceramics during a time of person upheaval when she decided to do something for her self. One class in of a 6 week course and she was hooked, and lucky enough to buy a second had Venco wheel and continue her course. It wasn't long after people asked to buy her work, and then teaching classes followed. When her students then could not purchase equipment, Prue then approached Venco to ask how she might become a rep.... and the rest just flowed. Teaching and running businesses is something Prue has done for over 20 years. We still run classes and hope to expand out to master classes and weekend intensive workshops with visiting potters. We are also hoping to expand a community and have a directory of studios, teachers and services on our website. We believe in building community and keeping each other connected and supporting each other thrive.

Our very first 40ft container.. what a few weeks it’s been! 🤍

From watching this container being unloaded from the truck into our carpark to carefully unloading and inspecting every kiln. We’ve packed additional equipment, organised freight across Australia and welcoming smiling customers through our doors for local pick ups.. it’s been a very huge few weeks.

The best part?

The phone calls, emails and messages letting us know your kilns have arrived safely and are already being installed in studio’s, schools and workshops across the country. There is really nothing better than knowing they’re heading off to become part of your creative journey. 🎉

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing team, suppliers and couriers. It takes a village.

Thank you for being part of the APS community 🥰
