⚡ It's Powerball day.
Tonight's draw has a $100 million Division 1 jackpot, and it's been a busy one at the counter.

If you'd like to be part of a bigger entry without organising it yourself, our in-store syndicates are worth a look. They're ready-made shares in larger entries, so you pick the share size that suits your budget and the rest is sorted.

Or if you'd rather keep it simple, grab a QuickPick and let the numbers be chosen at random for you. Either way, the team can run you through what's available today.

Are you going solo with a QuickPick tonight, or going in on an in-store syndicate?

When your printer's out of ink, the last thing you want is to be running between shops trying to track down the right cartridge. That's the whole point of our ink and toner range, genuine cartridges across all the big brands, value packs included, so whatever's sitting in your printer, there's a good chance we've got it.

It's part of what makes shopping local for your ink easier than ordering online and waiting days for it to turn up, you can just come in, grab it, and get back to printing.

👥 Ever thought about playing Powerball as part of a group?
Powerball has a $60 million jackpot this Thursday 8 October, and big jackpot weeks are usually when we get the most questions about in-store syndicates.

An in-store syndicate is a ready-made group entry that we put together here in the store. It's one larger entry split into shares, so instead of buying the whole thing, you buy a share of it. If the entry picks up a prize, it's divided between everyone in the syndicate based on how many shares they hold.

The nice thing is there's nothing for you to organise. No chasing friends for money or keeping track of who's paid, it's all set up and ready to go. Just come in, have a look at the in-store syndicates we've got available, and choose a share size that suits your budget. Our team is always happy to explain how each one works.

Would you rather play on your own, or as part of an in-store syndicate?

🎯 Ever wondered how a System entry actually works?
Oz Lotto has a $20 million jackpot this Tuesday 6 October, so it feels like a good week to explain one of the ways to play that people often ask us about at the counter.

With a standard Oz Lotto game, you choose 7 numbers. With a System entry, you choose more than 7, and your entry covers every possible combination of 7 from the numbers you've picked. So a System 8 means you choose 8 numbers, which works out to 8 games. A System 9 covers 36 games, all built from your 9 numbers.

Because your numbers are spread across all those games, the same drawn numbers can match in more than one of them. That means a single System entry can collect prizes across several games or divisions at once. The flip side is that more games means a higher entry price, so have a chat with our team and we'll help you find a System size that suits your budget.

Have you ever played a System entry, or do you stick with 7 numbers?

You can always tell when someone's found a good funny card in our store. There's a little snort, then they turn around to show whoever came in with them 🎂

We love helping people find the right one. "Something for my brother", "something that'll make Dad laugh", "something a bit rude but not too rude". We know the range inside out, so whether you're after cheeky, sarcastic or just plain silly, we'll point you in the right direction.

A card that makes someone laugh on their birthday is a pretty easy way to brighten their day. And it's a lot more personal than a text.

Come and check out the range next time you're in.

Do you go funny or sentimental when you're picking a birthday card?

Printing at home shouldn't cost a fortune.

Between school projects, work from home days and the printer that somehow always needs ink right when you're in a rush, running a household printer adds up fast. Value packs are one of the easiest ways to keep that cost under control, you buy once, you're stocked for longer, and you're not paying the "I need it right now" price every time.

It's a small change that makes a real difference over a few months, especially if there's more than one person printing in your house.

Check out our value pack range in the online catalogue here: https://newspower.com.au/pages/inkpower-catalogue, or come in and let us set you up with one that'll actually last.
