Our gorgeous community, ECHO THRIFT is doing the donation run to The Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust, this Friday morning (19th June).
Thank you for all the amazing donations and we want to say a very special thank you to 2 awesome locals & for volunteering their time to transport all the donations on our behalf.
It’s because of people like you 2 and everyone who donated, that we get to make these positive impacts & we are beyond grateful to the people that love Echo Thrift & support our goals.
Although we’ve had an amazing response, we are still in need of warm blankets, doonas, comforters.
Preferably no sheets or fitted sheets, especially with the colder months officially upon us.
If you can help with that, please head down to the shop and drop off your warm bedding to Echo before Friday morning.
We are open for donations between 10am - 4pm.

Our newest staff, community & family member is Vinny. He was adopted through an amazing company called SAVOUR LIFE ADOPTION.
SavourLife is a mission-driven, Australian-owned company that produces premium, natural pet food and treats. Their core manifesto centers on a single, powerful goal: to help reduce the number of adoptable pets euthanised in Australia and New Zealand to Zero.
They donate 50% of their profits directly to volunteer-run pet rescue groups and shelters across Australia.
Unlike large, traditional animal welfare charities, SavourLife focuses its funding on smaller, grassroots rescue groups that receive little to no government assistance.
Vinny & his sibling were dumped and could have easily been forgotten… Companies like SavourLife make sure their lives mean something.
They are worth the fight, the time & love.
This gorgeous guy is excited to meet & greet everyone at the shop, so come down and say gday to our new family member, and always, ALWAYS consider rescue/adoption when deciding to have a pet become part of your life.

Reducing waste, supporting a circular economy, minimising fast fashion, and providing quality affordable pre-loved goods, is a core part of our purpose and what we do ♻️

But beyond that is the true heart and soul of our mission here at Echo Thrift… to provide relief to those most in need, within our local community and beyond. We do this through our varied social welfare programs, which are supported and funded by the operations of our Op Shop.

Every dollar spent, hour volunteered, and goods donation made, directly supports these programs and individuals in-need within our local community.

We’re forever grateful for every donation of goods, time and services from each and every one of you so far.

Lots of the assistance we provide to the community is intangible, as is the support from all of YOU. So this is just a little snippet to help show what your donations and support are contributing to 👆

It’s been a big first 12 months at Echo Thrift, but don’t worry this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for exciting news and ways to get involved! 🤩 ❤️
