AUTO ELECTRICIAN — DUAL BATTERY & 12V SYSTEMS

Townsville Wholesale Batteries does dual battery systems, 4WD and caravan 12V, marine and off-grid — Victron, REDARC, Enerdrive, Hardkorr, ATG. Right now every fitment in this business goes through one set of hands. We're looking for the second set.
THE WORK
Dual battery and DC-DC installs across 4WDs, utes, trucks, vans, caravans and boats
Victron and REDARC system builds — MPPT, inverters, shunts, Cerbo, comms
Solar on caravans, campers, horse floats and off-grid setups
Fault finding on smart alternator vehicles other shops have given up on
Some heavy vehicle and hire fleet work
WHAT WE ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT
Cable sized to the load and the run — not "close enough"
Proper crimps with the proper tool. Every terminal sealed.
Looms run where they belong, secured, chafe-protected
Fuse at the source. Every time.
A customer opens that seat box in three years and it still looks like the day you built it
WHAT WE DON'T WANT
Blue crimps and a pair of pliers. Scotchloks. "She's right, it works." If you've run 6mm² off a 40A DC-DC because that's what was in the van, keep scrolling.
WHAT YOU NEED
Cert III Automotive Electrical (AUR30320)
Open licence
Ability to explain a system to a customer without making them feel stupid
WHAT YOU GET
$50-60per hour depending on what you bring, 38 hour week
