Just a heads up we will be closed in store and shipping tomorrow at all stores for ANZAC day so head on down for dawn service, grab a brew and gunfire breakfast. Then spend the day flying and printing!

Last week Zak attended the Australian Manufacturing Week in Sydney at the ICC along with Scott from S3DP and Rob from Boss Embossers.

Lots of awesome tech and gear out on display to gander at along with some stuff to test out. Zak caught up with the team to check out the MD1000 to possibly add one to the fleet! We also caught up with the Prusa Expo team and got to hear all things Prusa. Zak also connected with and discussed all things 3D printing statues and painting along with shared experiences from across the globe. This then developed into Zak Jumping up with David to chat in front of the Sydney Prusa meetup.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to catch Jo for the meet-up but there's always next year for the markerfaire in Prague?!

We are super excited to keep pushing in our 3D printed space and will continue to update our gear and techniques/technology.

A display piece from our newest paintng artist has just finished painting the Doom display, how'd he do?!

The base (everything but the Doom Guy) was all printed in one piece with a 0.6mm nozzle on our Modix Big60V3. This enabled us to print it at 640mm Tall. The Doom guy was then printed on our largest Resin printer in our fleet the Phenom L.

Some photos to go along with our last post.

Printed in PETG and Resin to achieve the highest detail and to allow movement with the use of the wind. The tail and legs are printed on our Bambu X1C while the main body was printed in resin on our Halot Max.

We opted to use a acrylic base for two reasons.
1. To provide support to the model as the original designer has the size on this set to 1:4 scale and we wanted to print it at 1:1 scale. By doing this it made the model super unstable and would cause it to fall over. So er had to use a base.
2. Low cost and low impact to the model, as we refine the CNC eventually we can get the foot print of the bases smaller and even use the laser later to add certain elements to the model.

This was a super quick model to produce and a welcome change compared to the bull and reindeers we had completed at the end of last year.
