❤️💛🖤 Thank you to St Patrick’s College for having us again for their annual NAIDOC Celebration💚💙🤍
It was a beautiful celebration of culture and heritage, with food, dance, crafts and performances throughout the night. It was such a great event to experience and be part of.
Thank you to Gayle for inviting me back into the classroom to share what I know and have learnt about running a small business with the Year 11/12 Business girls. I love the annual collaboration this has become, especially seeing their ideas go from designs in the classroom to finished earrings on the stall.
I’m so proud of this year’s designers. They created some incredible designs and should be really proud of what they produced. Everyone loved them on the night, with many of the designs selling out.
The girls also did a fantastic job running the stall. They helped get everything set up, organised all of the earrings into their colour-coded sections, welcomed customers, helped people find their pairs, packaged purchases and ran the till.
I was honestly there for the vibes 😂
They handled it all themselves, and their professionalism and attention to customer service really stood out. It was so good watching them put what they’ve learnt into practice and take ownership of the stall. Seeing people choose and buy designs they created themselves made the whole collaboration even more special.
And a final mention to Tallisha, who puts so much into creating such a special NAIDOC celebration each year. It’s a beautiful night that brings everyone together to celebrate culture, connection and community.
💚💙🤍 Until next year ❤️💛🖤
