After more than 20 years of operating, it is time for us to retire. We have enjoyed working with our customers to frame their memorabilia and artworks. Some works have been challenging but we have enjoyed the challenge.

Top Frames will cease trading on 30 June 2025 with the lease expiring at the end of July. If you have any last-minute framing to do, please come in before we close. Alternatively, if you are interested in purchasing anything from our stock of moulding, matboards, foamcore or glass, please send us a message to organise a time to come in.

Inspired by the crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and life in the azure seas of the Oceania region, these artists have each responded using their favourite media and techniques developed over their years of practice. Each has strived to capture the colours, textures and movement of the tropical oceans and the collective result is an immersive collection that is hypnotic, mesmerising, and a refreshing escape from the heat.

📣 Entries for Townsville's Ephemera 2025 have now opened! 📣

This year's theme - Trace-less - invites artists to think again about the ephemeral, and to make artworks that ‘trace-less’. Artists may take a more thoughtful approach to making artwork on Country, use ephemeral materials or spark awareness of environmental impact.

The biennial event is the largest public art festival in Northern Australia.

Entries close 5 November 2024.
