Our prices are not going up.
I don't want to get political here, but today I will.
We do not want to give the government the satisfaction or good look of - statistically - saving consumers while simultaneously increasing annual turnover for small business.
Instead, we are contemplating a 5% discount on cash sales to potentially decrease our annual revenue.
Australia is focusing on the wrong issue here.
If you're a business owner please consider holding off putting your prices up too soon. It will look all too good on paper for Albo, while making both consumers and business struggle even more.
I understand that it may seem like we are busy and always doing something - we are. This is manufacture. Some companies we supply, 50%+ can be the Cost of ingredients alone. We are not rolling in cash.
We dont need or want to be - we just have a few small goals that become increasingly difficult every year.
- Bring back and create memories
- Spread happiness.
- Eventually, provide jobs, especially as an entry point to the workforce for young people.
- Put some money back into the community.
