We are still completely blown away after celebrating our Top 101 Launch Event with over 300 people through our doors 🤍

To our incredible local community - thank you. Your ongoing support, excitement and love for books means more to us than we could ever put into words. Seeing so many familiar faces (and plenty of new ones) filling the store (completely) and celebrating reading with us was so special.

My favourite read for April.
6 stars. No notes. 🤍😭✨

Rites of the Starling by Devney Perry is officially in my top 10 reads of all time. I re-read Shield of Sparrows (book one) too… which somehow hit even harder the second time around??

This is the kind of story where you finish it… and then the next day you randomly think about a scene and start crying again. Because yes, that happened.

If you love:
✨ slow burn romantasy
✨ hidden truths + jaw dropping reveals
✨ monsters, magic & prophecies
✨ emotional devastation disguised as a fantasy novel
✨ “I would burn the world for you” energy
…read this series immediately.

The world-building expanded so beautifully in this one, the twists genuinely got me, and the emotional payoff? Brutal in the best possible way.

Counting down until March 2027 for book 3 (the FINAL book in this series).

Rites of the Starling is absolutely worth all the hype.
