Great winter weather and even better winter fishing over the weekend with Jake Hardie . Got our bag of gummys and school shark! A few whales kicking about putting on a show for while too. Awesome weekend!

Bit of a sunday stroll off the beach. Took Andy Marsh to catch some Salmon, the late arvo fired up and it was a fish every few casts. All on 30g to 40g metal slugs. The 9 foot rods helped get out into the breakers. Most of the salmon were about 50cm, so no giants but still pull some string!

Well, if you want a bit of fun, or bait collection, the surf is loaded with salmon! Nearly a fish a cast! All between 50cm and 60cm most and a couple of unlandables! All on metal slugs 40g to 60g. Just take a spin rod, 9 to 10 foot is ideal. Anyway, stacks there, prepare yaselves for a sore arm!
