🎉 HUGE CONGRATS TO JEFF! 🎉

​Over the weekend, one of our absolute legends and regular locals, Jeff, took out the top prize at the MTG Modern format Hobbit Spotlight Series! 🏆

​He piloted Izzet Prowess all the way to the top, taking home the Black Lotus trophy (plus some very nice cash). Massive effort!

​Honestly, we're constantly humbled by the standard of players coming through our doors. From Magic champions to Pokémon Worlds competitors, Riftbound best-of-the-bests, and so many other massive achievements over the years.

​At the end of the day, we just provide the space and the tables—it’s you guys bringing the world-class competition and supportive vibes!

Hey everyone! September is officially here, and our event calendar is absolutely stacked with everything from your favorite weekly locals to some massive key tournaments coming up later this month.

⚠️ IMPORTANT STORE CLOSURE NOTICE

We will be CLOSED on Wednesday, September 9th.

The entire NJC team will be away attending an important industry conference. While there was a slight chance we might have made it back in time to open late, we'll all have been on the go since the crack of dawn. Rather than opening late and running a sub-par evening for you guys, we're calling it for the day.

Take the night off, get some deck building done at home, and think of us! We'll be right back on deck Thursday morning like it never happened.

📢 IN-STORE PHONES & INTERNET UPDATE 📢

It’s no secret that our store internet and IP phones have been absolute garbage lately—and we sincerely apologise to anyone who’s had trouble calling through or reaching us.

Turns out, our current provider hasn't been willing to give us the support we need to fix it. The good news? We’ve officially pulled the plug and are cutting over to a brand-new provider soon! 🎉

The slightly annoying news? Our current connection seems to be worsening by the day while we finalise the switch (we're suspecting a bit of salty behaviour from a provider losing our business... 😅).

Please bear with us over the next couple of days while we jump this final hurdle. If you can’t get through on the landline, shoot us a direct message on Facebook/Instagram or an email at [email protected], and we’ll get back to you as fast as we can.

Assemble your roster, map out your tactics, and get ready to throw down on the tabletop. We are locking in our next MCP Crisis Event for August!

Here is everything you need to know to lock in your spot:

📅 THE DETAILS
When: Saturday, 22nd August

Time: 11:30 AM Registration | 12:00 PM Round 1 Starts

Entry: $25

Format: Unlimited Crisis Event (No timeline restrictions)

Length: 3 Rounds (90 minutes each) with a lunch break between Rounds 1 & 2.

Estimated Finish: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

⚔️ ROSTER & RULES LOCK
Rules Cut-Off: 15th August. Any new models or cards officially released after this date will not be legal for this event.

Tactics List: Standard legal rosters apply. You may include a maximum of two (2) cards from the restricted Team Tactic cards list (found at atomicmassgames.com/rules).

⚙️ THE GEAR & MINIS
Bring Your Own: Official, unmodified dice and measuring tools (painted tools are fine).

Tokens: Essential board tokens must be original or EO-approved correct sizes. Custom non-essential tracking tokens are fine if clear.

Miniatures: Every character must have its appropriate miniature, clearly identifiable, attached to the correct base size, and made from a majority of official AMG parts.

🎮 POKÉMON VGC IS RUNNING EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT! 🎮

With Pokémon Champions making it easier than ever to build and test teams on your Phone or Switch, there has never been a better time to jump into weekly video game play!

Whether you’re a seasoned trainer or just testing out a new roster, our Wednesday night VGC sessions are built to be fun, casual, and super approachable.
The Benefit of being in a store is definitely an added social layer to your video games but ALSO help and support in team building, play style and meta play (who knows, maybe you'll jump on the circuit for next seasons competitive play?!)

📅 THE DETAILS
When: Every Wednesday @ 7:00 PM (runs til about 9/930pm)
Entry: $15

🎁 THE PRIZE POOL
We like to keep things generous and fair so everyone walks away happy:

Guaranteed Pack/Product: Everyone gets $10 worth of packs or store product just for playing! (or store credit if you want to build up for something later)

The Remaining $5: Goes straight into the prize pool, generously spread across the top half of the standings PLUS a Lucky Door prize for someone in the room! 🎟️✨
