If you’ve been following Fox’s for a while, you’ll know we’ve spent years getting really clear on the food we stock and the values behind it.
We certainly haven’t got it all figured out, but we’ve loved the evolution. Doing better when we know better, asking questions and staying curious about the food we eat and where it comes from.
For our meat and produce especially, we believe nutrient density begins long before food reaches our shelves. It begins beneath the soil.
With that in mind, Parallel Pastures has officially hit the Fox’s shelves.
Born from a shared belief that we’ve become increasingly disconnected from where our food comes from, Parallel Pastures exists to help reconnect people to the source because good food starts long before it reaches our plate.
Raised on regeneratively managed pastures in Tenterfield, NSW, this is 100% grass fed and finished beef with complete traceability from paddock to plate.
It’s also part of a bigger mission to honour the whole animal, not just the premium cuts. From nourishing bones for broth and slow cook favourites through to the steaks we know and love, every cut has a place and a story to tell.
One of the most rewarding parts has been hearing the excitement from customers who spotted Y-bone on the shelves and found themselves reminiscing about childhood dinners. We’ve loved hearing the recipes being shared, the memories being stirred up and the cuts people are experimenting with for the first time in years.
It feels like we’re collectively falling in love with cooking again and building a stronger connection to the food we eat.
Welcome to the fam 🫶🏼
