If you know Chuggy, you’ve probably heard those famous words. You might also recognise him from Hardliners.
Chuggy (Tony) Lagana is an owner of Strike Force and Claudarah Fisheries, bringing an incredible 46 years of commercial fishing experience to the industry.
Born into a proud fishing family, Chuggy’s knowledge has been passed down through generations. His understanding of the ocean, the seasons, and sustainable fishing practices has been built over a lifetime on the water.
After decades at sea, Chuggy has recently embraced the slower pace of life on land. Handing the baton over to Joey, while no longer spending every day on the water, he remains an integral part of the operation as shore boss, keeping things running smoothly and passing on the invaluable knowledge and experience that only a lifetime in the industry can provide.
A respected fisherman, mentor, and a familiar face both on and off the water, Chuggy’s legacy continues to shape the next generation.
