throwback to when my work was up on the entrance to World Square, Sydney 🖤💛❤️

still not over it tbh. from painting on my bedroom floor in Newy to having my art on the front of a building in the city on Gadigal Country.

that 15 year old kid who was told art wasn’t a real job would be losing his mind right now.

thank you again to World Square for backing Blak art at that scale meant everything.

Okayyyy… I may have bought myself a new little toy 👀👓

I’ve been wanting something that lets me capture more of the actual day-to-day of being an artist painting, gallery chaos, markets, travelling, creating… all the bits where pulling out a phone kinda ruins the moment.

So I finally bit the bullet and got the Meta Ray-Bans. ( And obviously the first thing I had to do was sit in the gallery, unbox them with you and immediately put them on 😂

The idea of being able to show you what I’m seeing while I’m painting is VERY exciting. POV painting sessions? Gallery days? Markets? Me forgetting I’m recording and talking absolute s**t? The possibilities are endless.

Also… why do I feel like Inspector Gadget now?

What do we think are they giving artist documenting his creative process or man about to secretly investigate a crime? 😂

And more importantly… what do you want me to film with them first? 👇

Another day, another fit check 💕✨ Back in the gallery!

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s the start of my gallery week, and the mission is clear: FINISH. THIS. PAINTING. 🎨

Life has definitely been life-ing lately. Between health, family, loss, sickness, travelling and other projects, this piece has taken me a little longer than I’d normally like. But sometimes life has other plans, and health and family have to come first.

BUT — she’s getting finished this week! 👏 Then it’s time to get her photographed before she heads off to Carrington.

Now, onto the important business: the fit. 💅

These pink jeans are officially on HEAVY rotation, paired with my Basquiat tee and a pair of pink Converse that I genuinely haven’t worn in YEARS. Apparently, we’re bringing her back!

Hope you all have the best day. Hopefully you’ll be seeing a lot more of me soon… fingers crossed. 👀✨

Now let’s get things DONE. Let’s be productive, let’s make some magic, and let’s not let anybody hold us down.
