Dear Vasse Community,

After 26 wonderful years serving our local community, we have made the very difficult decision to close the doors of the Vasse General Store and Licensed Post Office permanently.

The community has been everything to us over these past 26 years. Your friendship, support, and kindness have made every day special. We’ve loved being part of your lives — from posting parcels and selling the paper, to chatting over a coffee or helping with those little everyday things. You haven’t just been customers… you’ve been family.
We will be closing our doors for the final time at 6:30pm on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.

**Official Update from Australia Post**

The owner of the Vasse Licensed Post Office (LPO) has notified Australia Post that they will permanently close from 6:30pm on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
We’re exploring options to maintain postal services in Vasse and are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitable small businesses or individuals.
Please email [email protected] if you would like to submit an EOI before 5pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026.
There are currently no changes to your postal services. We will continue to keep you updated as we progress.
For any queries, please call Australia Post Customer Contact Centre on 13 13 18.
