The Lions Vasse Community Christmas Fair is shaping up to be a fantastic day of community spirit, Christmas cheer, and family fun, and we'd love you to be part of it!

💔 Important Update from Vasse Lions 💔

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that the Lions Vasse Twilight Markets 2026/2027 season will not be going ahead. 😢

Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to secure the funding needed to help offset the increasing costs of running the markets. With live music 🎶, entertainment 🎨, logistics, and road closures 🚧, the cost has risen to approximately $2,000 per market, with road closure requirements making up the largest portion of that expense.

We are absolutely devastated that we cannot bring this much-loved community event back to the Village this year. 💔 The Twilight Markets have always been about creating a vibrant, welcoming space where our community could come together, support local businesses, enjoy great entertainment, and connect with friends and neighbours. 🌟

While this chapter is on pause, it is certainly not goodbye forever. 🙏 We remain hopeful that the markets will return in the future when circumstances allow.

✅ For those who have already purchased stallholder tickets, refunds will be issued via the webpage over the coming days.

We've spent a lot of time exploring new ideas and opportunities for the community. While we're a little cautious about sharing them too early, we can promise we're always looking for ways to bring people together and create great community events. 🤝
