Today is the day.

We want to sincerely thank you for being such a wonderful community to serve over the years. It has truly been a joy and privilege to be part of Wallan.

We are open today until all remaining stock is sold out.

One day left! Tomorrow is the last day of Dench Wallan. Please pop by, grab some of what is left, and be sure to say goodbye. Today’s memory is the joy of having our children on the journey with us. They have been patient in the ups and downs, willing to help with the promotions and letter drops. They were even willing to be filmed at the dinner table. The last photo is of our eldest helping out in his early teens (now a regular employee in the shop). They are the reason we have been in business for 22 years. So a big thank you from OUR FAMILY to YOURS 🙏.

FOUR! Our oldest memory from 1920- William Dench moved with his wife and 7 children from Bendigo to Melbourne. A family man, he wanted to give his children greater opportunities to set them up for their futures. He trained as a butcher and was renowned as a man of integrity. We enjoyed sharing his story, and the beginning of Dench during our 100 year celebration in 2020.
