Thats a Wrap for 2025!!!
We are taking time off over the silly season (understatement for the end of our 2025).
We have been reflecting on the disgusting treatment we received at the end of 2025 by a local client & large company client, that we will no longer be taking any of their work moving forward. Good riddance.
Unfortunately the treatment we received by them, has left a very sour taste in our mouth.
I was ready to shut up shop. I've worked in retail for 20+ years and I have never been treated this badly.
I have decided that's not fair to the rest of our awesome clients to call it quits on them. We appreciate the awesome family & community that have supported us over the past 5 years.
So after a much need break. We'll as much of a break you can have living on the land. (so we can get some of our own work done & off the back burner / I'll do it tomorrow list).
Moving forward from February 2026 after receiving legal advice, we will be implementing a Client Consultation Form (CCF) for all jobs big and small. No work will be started until this is signed.
This form is designed to protect our clients as well as us at OWD.
We will also be limiting the jobs we accept as unfortunately in the coming months/years our private workload will be growing and we will be spending more time between propertiesand away from The Bitch Barn. As we have always said our livestock & properties will always be our first priority, so last minute orders will more than likely get rejected or will incur a rush job fee. Orders will also need to be paid for before delivery.
I have already blanked out our calendar for our repeat clients that have annual events who have been supporting us for the past 5 years. But please touch base and confirm your event and the dates, just to be safe.
So here is cheers to our legends, we hope you have a Happy & Safe December and that your New Years Resolutions Stick. We look forward to working with you again in 2026 and to the loosers, don't let the door hit you on the way out ,you won't missed.
