Touchstone Pianos (formerly David Lawson's Pianos) is a specialist one-stop piano shop. Mark Bolsius is a piano tuner/Technician of over 30 years experience including a Churchill Fellowship, time spent at the Steinway Concert Technicians Academy in Hamburg, as well as previously being the contract tuner to the ANU School of Music. So your piano's care is assured at all levels. Mark is also a profe

ssional musician playing and teaching (in the past) primarily Jazz. The piano shop is stocked only with pianos Mark has personally selected and prepared. Alastair McLean is the Sales Manager and Service co-ordinator, Alastair is also a professional musician and an expert on the Kawai range of digital pianos (Kawai have used many of his suggestions when upgrading their models). Between them a prospective piano buyer can be certain that the piano they choose will suit their needs now and into the future.

A convict love token, a whole skinned Tasmanian Tiger, Sir Donald Bradman’s cricket bat and a prototype Holden car are among a collection of quintessentially Australian icons to be showcased musically on the border by acclaimed guitarists Grigoryan Brothers.

The musical reflection of Australia, “This is Us”, will be brought to border audiences by Murray River Fine Music in collaboration with the Jindera Pioneer Museum on Saturday, March 23 from 7.30pm.

Slava and Leonard Grigoryan chose 18 objects from a collection of 250,000 held by the National Museum of Australia and composed an entire program of original works based around them.

Be sure not to miss This Is Us on Saturday, March 23 at 7.30pm at the Jindera Pioneer Museum.
