Hi all,

The Australia Post network is currently experiencing outages, which affect nearly all retail transactions.

Nearly all services that do not involve parcel delivery are only working intermittently.

What this means is many transactions will not be possible without possible significant delays.

We will be holding a raffle, to be drawn in late August, with the winner receiving a $500 Prepaid MasterCard.

All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Little Wings, in honour of Dusty and his walking companions.

Tickets can be purchased at the Post Office for $5 each and are now available.

Hi all,

We get this question a lot, as it's not widely known.

The time that mail leaves here is 1pm on weekdays. This will also include things like passport applications, etc.

Anything that comes in after that time will leave with the next run on the next business day.

We know in the past it went later in the day but this was changed so that all POs in the vicinity can have their post make it to the next stage of the journey and also to adhere with laws related to the time truck drivers are allowed to spend on the road.

Our sincerest apologies but our van is out of action today. All parcels will be scanned this morning and available for collection throughout the day.

If you can't attend, please call us and we will try to help you.

Any parcels not collected today will be delivered on Monday, as per normal procedure.

Hello community,

From the middle of May, there is a new requirement when lodging parcels, which may increase waiting times.

All domestic parcels lodged over the counter will need to capture address information as part of the lodgement process.

Currently the system does not require this, which makes the process fairly streamlined. We do have ideas to implement to help keep this process streamlined but there will be an adjustment period.

If you regularly lodge parcels with is, please feel free to ask us questions and we can discuss the process and ways to keep the time taken for this process to a minimum.

Business customers who lodge online will not be affected by this process, as you're already completing the required information.
