Not going to sugarcoat it this year has tested me.

Prices up, petrol up, wars messing with supply chains, cost of living crisis, and staff who’ve taught me the hard way that not everyone has your back. Some absolute legends, some who left me scrambling.

Running a small business now is a completely different beast to six years ago. My accountant said it best, anyone still doing this in 2026 deserves a cape. Wearing mine today 🦸‍♀️

And here’s the thing, you won’t see any of this on my socials. Behind the scenes I’ve dealt with my own stuff too, and it’s been a real eye opener. But you’d never know, because at the end of the day my job is to look after everyone else first.
