Now in our 50th year of serving our town, the time has come for us to hand the reins of our beloved newsagency to new owners.
This decision wasn't made lightly, but it's time for Peter and Paul to take a well earned rest. We wanted to be sure the business would continue to be run with the same care, respect and community spirit that you've supported for decades.
We're pleased to share that the newsagency has been sold and will be taken over by new owners, who are already getting to know our customers and the rhythms of the town. They understand how important this shop is to the community and are committed to keeping it a true local newsagency.
We are extremely grateful to all the staff that have worked with us over the years - from the many young students starting their first after school job to our experienced staff who continuously went above and beyond to provide our customers with exceptional service.
To Belinda, Nina, Amber, Ashleigh and Charlize our current staff- words cannot express how grateful we are for your efforts and dedication.
For our customers, it's very much business as usual - familiar faces, the same services, and the same friendly place you've known.
We're incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and friendships gained over the years. Thank you for trusting us with your daily paper, lotto ticket, card or just a chat at the counter.
We welcome Sam and his business partners to town and hope that you will support them as you have supported us for so long.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Hynes family.
