Classic Hagstrom re fretted with jumbo frets posed a few challenges because the fretboard was imitation plastic pearl with rounded shoulders - very easy to damage. Frets could not be forced in and filing fret ends needed to be approached with additional care (and protective tape). Good results.

Burnt* 1973/4 Gibson J-55 repair. The new owner, didn't want a new soundboard etc, but a repair that maintained its character. The new parts were scorched. before a respray. Sounds and plays great.!!
(* I like to think domestic dispute, - but then I'm a romantic)
