Our Story

Longview Garden Centre is the largest garden centre in the Blue Mountains. It was established in 1947 as the Pottery Patch (pictured above), then changed to Gabor’s Nursery in 1972, and then “Longview Garden Centre” in the 1990’s.

Longview is at an elevation of 888m above sea level with an east facing view to Sydney and the coastline. Due to our elevation we specialise in cool climate and collectible plants especially maples, magnolias, conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs, perennial colour plants and natives that suit our area. A lot of our stock is also suitable for the wider Sydney region. Just ask our experienced staff next time you visit.
