A fresh collection from Rediscover Ceramics by Danica Wichtermann has just arrived at Aspects of Kings Park ✨

Danica says 'I’m so excited to have brought a new range of statement pieces to the gallery, including two large vases from my Where the Red Tails Roam | Whispers of the Wild collection, featuring the iconic red-tailed black cockatoo and rich seed pod textures.'

Alongside these are new botanical-imprinted tableware pieces, as well as a collection of sgraffito vases with contrasting linework and bold pops of colour.

A beautiful selection of new work inspired by WA’s native flora and fauna, now available at Aspects of Kings Park.

It was lovely to see Felicity Bodycoat in-store at the beginning of the month, as she delivered some brand new porcelain pieces to us here at Aspects of Kings Park!

Felicity’s work in porcelain is a collection of pieces drawing focus on colour, form and texture, in an exploration of different mediums and processes. Her background in horticulture and eye for design is reflected in the finishes and details used on the surface of the porcelain.

Here is Felicity with one of her new pieces which incorporate beautiful natural shades of green, next to a display of her existing work in tranquil white and neutral tones.

We look forward to seeing you in-store soon to explore this brand new range 💚

David 'Krocette' Prior 🎨🖌️

Krocette was born in 1955 in Moora, Western Australia. Throughout his childhood his grandmother taught him about the Watjarri Yamitiji culture, introducing him to bush tucker and bush medicine, significant places and stories, and to his relations throughout the Murchison region.

Largely self-taught as a painter, Krocette drew inspiration from his elders who would draw in the sand and carve emu eggs. Initially working with watercolours and sketching the landscape, he started to use acrylics when he returned to Geraldton and started to tell the stories handed down to him by his grandmother.

Krocette enjoys capturing the colours of the landscape at different times of the day and in different seasons, seeing the summer sunrise as lemon yellow tinges fracturing a golden aura 🌄

Come and see these beautiful pieces for yourself, on display in-store at Aspects! ✨
