It’s six years today since we took over the post office.
It was supposed to be earlier in the year, but 2020 happened and Covid disrupted everything.

More than 365,000 illicit ci******es have been seized from four Tasmanian freight facilities during a national crackdown on illegal to***co and vapes.

Department of Health to***co control officers, backed by Tasmania Police, raided sites at St Leonards, Bridgewater, Goodwood and Mornington from June 15 to 19, also seizing 156 kilograms of loose-leaf to***co and more than 1,600 vapes.

Detective Inspector Troy Morrisby said Tasmania Police was working with enforcement partners to dismantle criminal networks driving the illicit trade.

Operation TEMPEST, led by the Australian Border Force, seized about two million illicit ci******es across Tasmania and Victoria, with authorities estimating $7.9 million in evaded duty.
