A question we get a lot from parents: how do I know the headgear fits properly?

Two things. It shouldn't move when they shake their head, and they should still be able to see to the sides. Headgear that blocks peripheral vision means they don't see shots coming — which defeats the point.

The Viking Maximus uses flexible cheek pads and foam that moulds to the shape of the head, with a velcro closure so it can be adjusted as they grow.
