Good evening folks,
The HO Scale Akkf, Akkl, Afpl and Cn van (HOn3.5) are now all on the website available for purchase in both kit and rtr form and with options for various specific loads for them.

Go check them out when you fancy 1 or 12

The loaf will follow in the next day or 2.

Aogl and other varients will follow once artwork is done.

If you n scale modlers want these produced in n scale please make some noise or ill move onto the next projects

Does anyone know what the loads for the afpl, akkf and akkl cars looked like, any photos? Ive only ever come across empty wagons.
I know what gas pipe loads look like to moomba now days as ive carted many up there but not sure if thats the case then.

Below is me just hooked onto a 3rd trailer at Orroroo to head north to Moomba with 3 trailers of gas pipe. About jan 2023 i took this photo before I gave it away

The Afpl car has come out nicely with sds bogies under it.
Is a 1 piece body and decals.

The cn looks the treat too with a multiple piece kit, detailed floor and underframe and rolling on our 3d printed bogie.

Full details to come but these models are good to roll for sale soon

When you put the wrong decals on a wagon.
This akkl car is now an akkf according to me today
Decals still work out well

Sorry for the lack of posting this last week. We been flat out doing things at home and getting new work areas set up, layout built and shed sorted and fixing storm water pipes.

In the last couple weeks it became very clear I needed a better work area so the layout plans were redrawn to allow for a much bigger better work area in the shed. Does mean the layout shrunk a Lil bit but not too much.

With the help of Brad Turner we got a lot more achieved on the layout which let us start to sort through all the mess of my train collection and start to store it away. Then we put the work bench out there and in a spot where it will have a link to the layout so I can better test run locos and kit builds.
Ill be improving the storage of all the builds im doing in the next week as well as getting 2 big glass didplay cases to house finished models in.
Ill be bringing my airbrush set up in the shed next once ive sorted the next lot of stuff into their right spots.

The layout now has its peninsula almost done and will be finished off in the next week or so to allow work to continue.
We even laid a Lil track and test ran the cn van with 3d printed bogies and sds wheelsets.
Photos of the progress and the new plans for the layout are included.
Still long way to go and all this while replacing all the storm water arIund the house and it was chockers with roots
