My Creative Box has been inspiring creativity in kids since 2016 and has a mission to inspire little minds to explore, learn and create. Since being established in 2016 our Creative Community have made My Creative Box Australia's highest rated kids gift and subscription activity box destination. My Creative Box delivers educational hands on fun learning experiences helping families to connect while inspiring creativity in children through our age appropriate themed range of Creative Boxes. Our boxes are themed for fun and education, catering for the most important developmental years of a child's life. Designed by early learning experts in conjunction with a PhD qualified Scientist our boxes promote hands on fun, learning and creativity with various topics, skills and themes explored through each box. All of our boxes in the three age ranges we cover from 2 to 12 years are designed for age appropriate development and learning

At My Creative Box we wanted to create a product that was easy to use. We provide you with EVERYTHING you need to complete each activity and enjoy special quality moments with your child in the process. Our Creative Boxes come with clear and easy to follow step by step instructions for our custom designed age appropriate themed activities. We also provide you with parenting prompts to help you make the most out of each activity by guiding and supporting your child to their full potential. As learning professionals, educators and parents ourselves, we know that learning never stops! Thats why we provide additional extension activities and content ideas through our subscription program so your child can continue to learn and stay creative!

Do your kids fight? Sibling fights are something that I really struggle with.
 
They are part of family life because kids are still learning how to share, communicate, manage big feelings, compromise and navigate relationships. They arent alwasy going to get it right and thats why we need to guide them.
 
I've found that separating them during the fights doesn't always work. They just seem to brew on those feelings even longer. What they are actually seeking is connection.
 
Providing them with the opportunity to reconnect is exactly what My Creative Box does.
 
It allows them to sit together focus on something. They can share materials, take turns, help each other, swap ideas and work cooperatively.
 
It creates opportunities for cooperation without forcing it and thats one of my best parenting hacks ever. Hearing them excitedly tell each other about what they’ve made melts my heart. 🥹

Did you know that crafting has hidden benefits? ✂️🎨

Those little hands are building the foundations for handwriting through cutting, colouring, gluing, peeling stickers and manipulating tiny pieces.

Activities like this helps to develop fine motor skills, hand strength, hand coordination, pincer grip and dexterity. These are all skills that little hands need in order to control a pencil.

Family life is busy, between work, school, sports, and so much more it can be easy to lose connection.  
 
Spending time together creating can give you a reason to slow down and simply be together.
 
Our Collage Craft Boxes are so much more than an activity to keep the kids busy. They are well stocked with over 1000 craft pieces and ready to go for families to enjoy uninterrupted time together. Sometimes children don't need us to organise something elaborate — they just need us to sit beside them and join in.
 
It’s also a chance to put the screens away, laugh, experiment, make mistakes and simply enjoy being together. The craft might be what gets them to the table, but the connection is what makes the moment special. Those little moments around the table, the conversations, laughter, messy hands and time together, will become part of their childhood.

Lets combine Science and Art.

This one is super simple and I bet you already have everything you need for it at home already!

The watercolors stay within the heart because of surface tension! Surface tension is the property water molecules have that allows it to resist external force. This means they prefer to “stick together” When water molecules stick together we call that cohesion!
