It all started eight years ago using sloes gathered from the hedgerows on land at Tiddleywink after my dad took over the upkeep from my Uncle Fred, continuing the history of family ownership which dates back over a hundred years. Jams and pickles followed on from the sloe gin, and after years of gift making for family and friends, and lots of positive feedback and encouragement, I decided to open up Tiddleywink Treats to a wider audience. All Tiddleywink Treats products are lovingly and carefully hand made in Chippenham in small batches using local seasonal produce whenever possible. More exotic produce (we haven't found any mango growers in the West Country yet!) is sourced from local suppliers such as SK Fruits in Chippenham and Bramleys in Cirencester. My produce is available at Castle Combe Market on the first Saturday of the month and at Wiltshire Farmers Markets in Malmesbury and Chippenham on the second Saturday and Sunday, respectively, each month. If you can't get to a market why not pop into Yatton Keynell Village Stores, Marshfield Central Stores who both stock a variety of products or Kington St Michael Community Shop who stock my infused oils.
