Announcing a new upcoming workshop….

CIRCULAR WEAVING WORKSHOP
Saturday 8th August commencing at 9.30am.

Would you like to learn how to create a beautiful wall hanging on a circular loom?
Come along and learn how to prepare and warp a hoop ready for circular weaving, then learn a variety of different weaving techniques that can be used to add texture and interest to your weave.
You will then be guided to create your own unique circular weaving.
You will have access to my comprehensive fibre stash, so that you can create your own colour scheme, and make your own textural choices.

Cost:-there are two options available:-
1. Come just for the morning 9.30am-12.30pm:- $120.00
All materials needed to complete your circular weaving will be supplied. Depending on the complexity of your weave, you will be unlikely to complete the project in 3 hours, however, you will learn everything you need to know to finish off your project at home, and will be given enough fibre supplies to finish off your project.
Morning tea provided.

2. Come for the day. 9.30am-3.00pm:-$150.00
If you are someone who loves to complete a project, or just loves a good day out, learning something new with like minded people, then this might suit you better. You will have more time to fully explore different weaving techniques, and more time to receive individual tuition.
A light lunch will be included.

The workshop will be held in my studio in Wilberforce in the beautiful Hawkesbury.

Congrats to Poppy who is competing in Scotland

#1 band piper Ms Poppy Middleton (14yo) played in her first solo contest in Scotland today at Arisaig Highland Games and obtained 3rd place on the Under 18’s 2/4 March and 3rd place in the Under 18’s Strathspey & Reel.
