We have been a little quiet of late, but that’s because there are big things happening behind the scenes!
Currently our trimming and training services are at capacity, so at this point we won’t be able to take on any new clients until October at earliest. Thank you for the enquiries we’ve received over the past few weeks, but we just do not have the available time unfortunately! 😬
There will be a post soon about some new and exciting products we will be making to sell, as well as an update on our saddle tree manufacturing which is nearly at production point!
Such an exciting second half of the year for us, looking forward to sharing all of this news with you VERY soon!! Keep an eye out!!

Welcome Peanut!! 🥜

Peanuts having a little training holiday with us!! Foundation groundwork, transferring that to the saddle walk, trot and hopefully canter. Peanut is a lovely fellow, wonderful temperament but can be a bit full of himself (who could blame him!) at times. Pics and video of progress to follow over the coming days/ weeks. 😃

Something you may not know that We offer here at Red Horse Leather, is Retraining and limited Riding Lessons! 🐴 (No starting horses at this time, not enough hours in the day!!)

Emma has had Stevie the Standardbred in for training the past week to give his groundwork and general handling skills a touch up to get him ready for his beginner rider.
Stevie is a lovely boy who tries very hard, but had no foundational skills so this was making it difficult for his new owner to learn.
Stevie has returned home today, groundwork, ridden work at walk completed and on a new feeding program, ready to continue his training under instruction with his owner through us. ❤️❤️ Good luck Stevie and Charlie!!

Stevie will come back for further training when his owner is ready to start trotting.

**Back up for sale due to finance issues on behalf of buyer**

For sale by maker: 14” slick fork saddle, 4.5”x 12.5” cantle, 3” high x 4” finished horn, flat plate 3/4 single rigging, inlaid padded seat, partial geometric/border stamping finished with JM (Mincer) white bronze conchos.
Weighs 13kg which is less than a McCall Lady Wade, just for comparison. Narrow twist to suit us ladies, very comfortable. Built on our own tree design which fits a wide variety of horses and puts you in a balanced seat position. Suitable for short backed horses, measures 27” in length.
This saddle is based on early California saddles, only difference is tree is fibreglassed, making for a lighter saddle, yet still suitable for roping.
