Deliveries; the QR 1620s class models are sitting in a warehouse in Shanghai awaiting a boat. They are booked to depart in about 4 days time. This will likely have them arriving in Seven Hills a day or two before the Brisbane Model Train show.
The RHGF stone wagons are due to depart Hong Kong, on about the same date, and as the transit time is less. We should receive these by the end of June.
The OCY container wagons, will be ready to ship later this month. We are shipping half the order now and the balance will be a month or so later.
Other rollingstock arriving later this year will include the NSWR RU, TPK and UT wagons. Some re-runs of the NSWR ICX wagons and containers and oil company rail tank cars of the 50s/60s/70s period. The, all new, VR KC flat wagon with tallow tank load and LCL container load.
The VR KC wagon is a new deck moulding and it utilises the underfloor detail from our KQ/GY/RY/IZ range. The tallow tank is an all new item and will feature an etched metal walkway, either side of the filler dome.
The LCL containers are ostensibly the old Austrains parts however we have added an additional variant with the roof filler hatch and small release doors at the front. These additions allowed for the transportation of small quantities of bulk grain, like barley for malting.
The 20' containers are also an old Austrains product, however suitably adjusted to now sit on Australian outline wagons and precisely match the twistlock positions.

A recent arrival and some imminent departures.
The much awaited QR 1620 class models are ready to ship and will be 'on water' in the coming week.
The RHGF stone wagons are being boxed presently and likely to ship later this week.
The modernised EHO NSW express passenger brake vans arrived this week. Around 1960 the NSWR undertook a semi modernisation program with some EHO vans. New plywood sides and modern single piece sliding doors for the goods compartment.

"For the first time ever, SDS Models will have representation at the BRMA Hobart Model Train Show this weekend, being held at the Kingborough Community Hub (9.30 – 4pm Sat & Sun).
We will have some of our TGR Y and 1620 class samples on display, as well as a handful of 1460/1502 models available for purchase, especially including of course, Tasrail QR class locomotives."

Venturing south this weekend for the annual AMRA Victoria exhibition @ The Showgrounds.
With the recent arrival of several wagon packs we are running short of warehouse space.
