It’s been a wet weekend, and a good reminder to stop for a moment and reflect on where you started, where you are now, and where you’re heading.

The past 12 months have been exciting. There have been plenty of speed bumps along the way, but that’s all part of having a crack and building something you genuinely believe in.

One thing that’s become clearer than ever is that good beef starts with good grass. You can have the best genetics in the world, but if you don’t get the pasture and nutrition right, you’ll never produce the consistency you’re chasing.

That’s something Dan and Jake are really proud of—maintaining a genuine connection to every beast and producing 100% Maleny beef with real provenance. They know where every animal comes from, what it’s grazed on, and how it’s been raised. They wouldn’t do it any other way.

There’s plenty of work ahead, and that’s the enjoyable part. Better pastures and even better beef.
