Did you know guitar picks have been around for centuries? However a couple of more modern picks have really stood the test of time.

The tortoiseshell pick was the very first patented guitar pick in the US, way back in 1885! Fast forward to the 1920s and the first celluloid pick was created by the D’Andrea company.

Who knows what the future holds for the humble guitar pick, but we’re here for the ride!

DickPicks began with two Aussie blokes practising guitar. After 30 years of friendship, and countless jam nights, it was realised that our talent was not going to see us become world famous rock gods. So, we then decided that those who can't do, create.

After several different names, designs and hours upon hours of testing, we know that we have a great product. Hopefully some of our customers will be talented enough to become legends, when they do, they can say that they began with a DickPick!
