Red Box has been a favourite of many this year. Being in the Box family, it’s very similar to that of the very popular Yellow Box. This variety is light and sweet with woody notes and a floral aroma.
We love a local honey, and Red Box is no exception with our bees sourcing the nectar to make this delightful honey in the East Gippsland area.

Our security team has bee’n hard at work of late.
Autumn brings a change in weather and sometimes a change in food supply for these little guys. Being a little confused, they’ve mistaken the yellow lids as flowers!
No need to worry, our team is far too busy with our strict quality control checks that they won’t even notice you visit.

This summer we found ourselves exploring the local flora around north-central Victoria. Our bees were able to savour some new flavours being Black Box and Giant Mallee and revisit some old friends in that of Yellow Gum and Yellow Box.
All are available for you to purchase in our great range of products from our 300g jar to our massive 3kg bucket.

This spring we found ourselves amongst the golden fields of canola in northern Victoria. The bright yellow flowers produce great amounts of pollen and nectar which provide a timely boost to our hives coming out of a cold winter.
Although canola honey isn’t suited for your toast or porridge, it’s a wonderful kick start to the season for our bees. We love seeing how happy, healthy and productive our winged workers become when they work spring field flowers like canola. It’s important we maintain healthy hives as we approach the warmer summer months to provide you with our great tasting eucalypt honeys.

This summer we found ourselves on the south-coast of Victoria to harvest one of Australia’s most unique honeys.
If you like bold and flavourful, Banksia honey is a must. With it’s deep amber colour and unique butterscotch notes it sure packs a punch. Australian flora produces a vast range of flavours and this delight is no exception.

There’s few Australian trees that are as well known as the Sringybark. This tall eucalypt known for its ‘stringy’ bark has flowered incredibly well in Victoria this summer. So much so, we are calling it the year of the Stringybark!
Our bees have recently visited and produced good amounts of honey from the White, Yellow and Brown Stringy trees.
We are currently stocking the delicious honey of the White and Yellow varieties. Great Australian honey - produced locally. How good is that!
