Native Seed Box has developed curriculum-aligned classroom seed bomb kits that allow students to investigate seed germination, plant life cycles, pollination, biodiversity and sustainability through a practical STEM experience.

Students create their own native seed bombs while exploring scientific inquiry, observation and environmental stewardship. The activity encourages students to ask questions, make predictions, collect data and observe how living things grow and interact within ecosystems.

🌼 I think our little seed bombs have officially outgrown the kitchen! 😅

A few months ago we tucked a couple of our pollinator seed bombs with Everlasting Daisy and Dwarf Strawflower seed into our kitchen herb planter alongside the basil, thinking they'd add a little colour.

Well, they had other ideas! 😂 They're now so tall they're touching the overhead cupboards.

I think it might be time to move out 🌱💛

💛 Yellow Pea Bush – A hardy Australian survivor

Little tic tac sized and shaped seeds! Do not eat!

One of the species included in our Australian Survival Seeds Collection is the Yellow Pea Bush (Sesbania cannabina).

This fast-growing native legume produces cheerful yellow pea flowers while helping improve soil by naturally fixing nitrogen. Traditionally, it has also been valued for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
