🌱Our "seed" of an idea this week was feathers🪶
After being given the seed, students were asked to just let their minds go to whatever associations were made.
💡Some of the students amazing ideas were- feathered circus costumes, the ducks that live in the pond on the farm, feathered mythical beast creatures, flying pegus, feathered headress, catching the movement of feathers tumbling to the ground, light shining on an unhatched chick in an egg checking to see if its fertilised, the colours on Rainbow Lorikeets in a tree, a sea slug with feather like growths on its body, an Eagle in flight, the construction of a birds nest, a 3D cardboard construction of a Macaw, a humorous work about a pet dog who has his food stolen by the magpies, a gorgeous pink Flamingo, a Palm tree with feather fronds, a little Swan jewellery box, an embossed metal Pheasant, a retelling of a time an Aunts dog's chased a bird into the bushes, a beaded dragonfly with feather like wings, the family chook and more.
📖These ideas were then planned out and designed for in the students workbooks.
