We have made the heartbreaking decision to close our doors permanently. Ivy & Bird started as a labour of love built and cared for by beautiful Maria. She made this business what it is, and taught us how to continuing nurturing and growing. I am so thankful to her for giving me this beautiful, humbling, challenging gift that has brought so much joy to myself, my staff and all of our amazing clients.
Like many small businesses in Australia, the change in cost of living and increasing pressures over the past couple of years has made things very difficult behind the scenes. Paired with conflict over the space we’ve worked so hard on, we decided it was the right time to step away.
We are so lucky to have been fully booked and busy for over 2 years, so this really is just an unfortunate representation of how the economic climate is for small businesses. To every client who supported us, booked regular appointments, recommended us to friends, and most importantly stuck by our new team, we thank you. Your support is the reason we are always motivated to bring the best possible service to our little studio.
Our last day open will be the 20th of June 2026. All appointments booked after this date will no long stand. Although this is quick, we want you to know our decision is not rushed. We have explored all options and ultimately decided this is our path forward. There will be more information to come about our beautiful girls are where you can find them in future to continue your nail journeys.
