Goodbye šø
Nine years ago I took a leap of faith as a 22 year old and bought a little flower shop in Buderim. I never could have imagined where that decision would lead me. After six wonderful years in Buderim and three years in Woombye, today marks my very last day as the owner of Buds.
Itās hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. This little business has shaped so much of who I am. It has brought me incredible friendships, unforgettable memories, so many beautiful celebrations, and the privilege of creating flowers for some of lifeās most special moments.
As Iāve stepped into my 30s, it feels like the right time to make space for a new chapter and new adventures. While saying goodbye is incredibly bittersweet, Iām so excited for whatās ahead.
To every customer, client, and friend who has supported Buds over the past nine years, thank you. Thank you for trusting me, cheering me on, and allowing me to do what I love every single day. I truly couldnāt have done any of this without you.
To all of the beautiful girls who have worked alongside me over the years, thank you for your hard work, friendship, laughter, and support. You have each been such a special part of this journey, and Iāll always be so grateful.
Iām also so excited to hand Buds over to Katie as its new owner. I wish you nothing but happiness and success as you begin this journey. Owning this little business has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I know youāll create your own beautiful chapter with it.
