Yesterday’s ceremony flowers were thoughtfully transformed for the reception.

The main ceremony flowers were redesigned to frame the bridal table and the couple, while the pew flowers were repurposed to each side of the table.

Beautiful flowers deserve to be enjoyed throughout your entire wedding day.

We had such a lovely time at last weekend’s workshop creating our Painted Dream Bouquet. 💐

🌿 A Little Garden Cross Tribute 🤍
Created in Celebration of a Beautiful Life.

Last year, I had the privilege of creating birthday flowers for a truly lovely lady who was deeply loved by her family.

One of my fondest memories was chatting with her daughter about each flower while she enjoyed her morning tea from her favourite floral teacup. That simple, peaceful ritual reminded me how precious life’s little moments are, and how important it is to slow down and savour a cup of tea in a favourite cup.

This time, it was an honour to create a Celebration of Life cross tribute, designed as a little garden in her memory—a place filled with gentle blooms, love, and gratitude for a life beautifully lived.

Thank you to her wonderful family for trusting me to create this final floral tribute.

Her family will meet her again every time love moves them.

Come to the flower market with me.😊

When I visit two of my Brisbane flower suppliers, my day usually begins at 3:45 am, leaving home before sunrise and driving past kangaroos and wallabies on the way to the market.

Today was a little different-a rare 9:00 am start.
On the way, I received a call from an interstate florist with a special order for their customer on the Gold Coast. I told them I'd send photos of what was available at the market and personally select the freshest flowers.

I arrived at Petal Peddlers just 15 minutes before the market closed. It was beautifully quiet, and tomorrow's fresh flowers had already been fully displayed-perfect timing to choose the very best blooms.

Just as you would carefully pick the best apples at the fruit shop, I believe choosing the highest-quality flowers is the most important step. Every arrangement begins with selecting the finest stems, one by one.

I love how florists across Australia support one another.
It's always a privilege to help another florist and create something beautiful for their customer.

This elegant cream and white arrangement is now on its way to Coombabah.
