Heres a little wiring trick I like to use for any 'closed box' guitars (i.e archtops, or any guitar without rear control cavity).
Allows you to wire the pickup directly inside the pickup cavity and not all the way to the the wiring harness which, let's face it, can be total nightmare for even the most skilled repairers and luthiers!
Also a great mod for 335 style guitars if you like to change pickups often đŸ˜‰
