Windows are one of the most overlooked factors in a home's energy bill, and most homeowners have no idea how much they're actually losing.

We used WincovER, developed by WSAA with input from experts connected to the federal NatHERS program, to find out. The results: up to 34% in annual energy savings with automated shading, 11% manual, no other changes to the home.
