Welcome to our little bushland apiary, the yummiest pure mixed blossom honey, for that real unprocessed non heat treated cold extracted raw honey and honey products. Each batch of honey is collected and extracted with no heating or warming of the honey it is spun using centrifugal force then gravity filtered though mesh to remove any large pieces of wax or pollen and then bottled. Our honey may contain traces of pollen, bees wax and propolis and as its not commercial processed it will retain all of its natural vitamins and beneficial enzymes. Also as its Raw and not commercially processed it will start to crystallise after a while, the time this takes depends on the type of nectar the bees have collected, this does not mean that your honey has gone off, its a natural process. The sugars from nectar are naturally crystalline and after a certain amount of time the sugars naturally return to their crystalline form. honey in this state is great for spreading on toast and for cooking as its less messy. :)

PLEASE we need your help... the devastation of this terrible mite on our bees, All wild bees & beekeepers in Qld, NSW & now SA & Vic.
So many people are saying they see very few if any bees on the trees and flowers now.... so you know how significant this matter is.

Wednesday Varroa Update — 19/08/26

This lot in the picture aren’t going to fix this for us… until we make them talk about it.

Right now, our best weapon is making enough noise that they can’t ignore us.

🐝 We need 10,000 signatures.
🏛️ 10,000 signatures means this issue can be brought before Parliament.
⏱️ It takes around 2 minutes to sign.

Two minutes.

That’s all we’re asking.

This isn’t just about beekeepers. Varroa affects our bees, our beekeeping industry, our farmers, our food production and ultimately millions of Australians.

Surely, between all of us, we can find 10,000 people willing to spend two minutes to stand behind our beekeepers and our bees?

Nice to see the news is starting to share the struggles we’re going through with losing Hives and the cost of trying to keep the bees alive and of course now they’re starting to talk about the food security. Lucky for us we have never relied on the chemicals that have been pushed though government agencies, we have relied on the organic methods to deal with Varroa which is working.

Suppose to be winter, no? Our bees and garden think it’s start of Spring. Honey flow is on at Happybee with the flavours and smell of Spring. The bees know what’s happening with the seasons before we do and we can see no slow down for winter and the start of the new season is just around the corner.
