I’ve been wanting to write this message for a long time.

After the fire, so many people reached out, donated, shared our story and supported us when everything felt incredibly overwhelming. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to properly explain what that kindness meant to me.

I have finally been able to personally message most of the people who donated, but there are still so many I haven’t been able to reach, as well as those who donated anonymously. So this message is for you.

Thank you. Truly.

Your generosity helped us through one of the hardest chapters we’ve ever faced. It gave us the ability to keep going, look after our team, find our feet again and eventually start rebuilding what we had lost.

And I’m so incredibly happy to say that we are back on our feet and our new Yeppoon store is opening very soon.

Walking into the new shop and seeing it all finally coming together is pretty emotional. There were definitely moments over the past few months when getting to this point felt a very long way away.

I’m sorry it has taken me so long to say thank you properly. The months since the fire have been a whirlwind, but please know that your kindness was never forgotten.

Whether you donated $5 or $500, shared a post, sent a message, bought flowers or simply cheered us on — you were part of getting us here.

From me personally, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget how our community wrapped its arms around us when we needed it most.

I can’t wait to open those doors and welcome you all back.
