Something in my gut told me to get my hands on this openroad 270 awning wall panel system before our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Rain was in the forecast and I didn’t want us getting soaked in the event we had to cook in the rain.

My gut instinct was right and this wall panel system came in clutch on so many occasions throughout the week that it solidified my need for it permanently in the truck. Without this the ground would have been soaked and probably a lot more than I would have liked because rain doesn’t always fall straight down. I’ve also left this setup overnight unattended in a storm that was several hours long and when I came back to the truck in the morning the ground inside the enclosure was bone dry!

I also feel like I now have a man cave attached to the back of my truck whenever I need it and I couldn’t be happier! Knowing if we’re ever caught in a storm and need to take cover but don’t have our tent to take shelter in, at least now we have a quick setup that can make due to keep us out of the elements and provide added protection from the sun. The panels are modular so you can use one or use them all to enclose the bed of your truck, and tear down is quick as well so what more could you really ask for in an awning accessory?!? Totally worth the purchase!
