Things to practice during the Dengue season:

✅ Clean your and surroundings on a regular basis. Make sure water doesn't accumulate on planters, saucers, discarded chips packets, bottles, etc.

❌ Keeping plants at home breeds mosquitoes - that's a myth! Always remember the carrier, Aedes mosquito only breeds in accumulated clear water or rain water. It avoids dirty water.

✂️ Prune overgrown branches and keep your garden tidy so that other kinds of mosquitoes don't hide in such places.

✅ If you have any aquatic plant setups outdoor, add some beneficial fishes such as Guppy fish. They eat mosquito eggs and larvae therefore stop mosquito breeding.

✅ Try to use narrow-mouth bottles or jars for your plants in water in order to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs. Change the water regularly. If you still find mosquito eggs/larvae then stop keeping plants in water altogether. Health comes first.

Educate yourself and share the knowledge with others. Take care. 🌿

Paper, cotton, tissue, bottle, cardboard box - I leave no leaves unturned when it comes to packing plant parcels. I take an ample amount of time and do so with utmost care. Sometimes despite everything, the courier companies manage to still mess things up. 😑

But alhamdulillah, so far I have always had understanding clients. 💚

🪴 inside: Philodendron Variegated Heartleaf, Monstera Pinnatipartita, Pinnatum Mint

🌿 Gifts: Peperomia cutting, Arabian Wax cutting

The one good thing about strong sunlight? Photos come out really nice! 😆☀️📷🌿
