Just to let people know a few things regarding 4 piston front caliper upgrades . Do this only with not abs bikes , because if you are upgrading to 4 pots your abs motors aren't rated to handle the pressure bias needed for 4 pots . This may cause major braking failure in certain circumstances . Factory abs systems are only calibrated to the factory calipers not anything beyond that . I won't go into the details right now but will talk more about it in a video soon .
Also be aware of calipers you buy . Some Chinese companies do come with good quality 4 pots but that's a rare case .Even if you get a Chinese 4 pot ask around in forums and research about the product before purchasing . Try to stick to OEM quality stuff like the one on the picture ,and there are more options too if you look around .
I choose mine from a CB X motion because it's a proven setup that's tested to work . And brake pads are readily available . Furthermore ,a 17mm or 16 mm radial master cylinder is not recommended unless you are a serious track rider ,and imo the stock CBR master cylinder or R15 v3 master cylinder is more than adequate to drive the pistons of the caliper . ( Will also touch this subject in a video too ) .
Just sharing my experiences ,hope it helps .
