General Purpose

The senior accountant is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts

ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met

prepare financial management reports

ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes

establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

monitor and support taxation requirements

develop and maintain financial databases

prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process

oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues

collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems

ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data

Education and Experience

accounting degree or equivalent

knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles

knowledge of economic principles

knowledge of auditing practices and principles

knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations

knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications

usually a minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice

Retail Sales Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Significant experience in a retail sales setting is strongly preferred
Basic reading, writing, math, and
Able to memorize product line features and specifications
Able to engage in dialogue with strangers, helping them make informed decisions
Must be honest, trustworthy, and hardworking

General Purpose

Prepare and present quality beverages according to standard recipes.

Main Duties, and Responsibilities

- promotes coffee consumption by educating customers;

- prepares and sells coffee (hot & cold) by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as

- espresso, cappuccino caffè macchiato, espresso lungo, caffe latte, caffè mocha, flat white, and Caffe Americano

- serve and prepared cheesecake, brownie, Tiramisu, pastries, muffins, cookies for a coffee bar.

- serve and prepare burger, fries, salad, pasta, noodles etc.

- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.

- greet all customer and present beverage menu

- discuss beverage items, make suggestions and answer any inquiries

- describe current promotions and new products

- take customer orders accurately

- operate coffee making equipment

- prepare and present beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards

- prepare and pack coffee bean purchases for customers

- record and accurately process purchases using the POS system

- collect and process payments from the customer including cash, credit and debit cards

- comply with health, safety and hygiene guidelines and regulations

- ensure customer service stations are well stocked

- maintain clean and hygienic work area

- dismantle and clean machinery as needed

- display merchandise in an attractive and functional manner

- monitor and order inventory

- stock inventory according to storage requirements

- complete opening and closing duties for each shift

Education and Experience

HSC equivalent

high volume experience with coffee making equipment

working knowledge of all forms of coffee and standard beverage recipes

basic numeracy and money-handling skills

able to read and speak fluently in required language

able to stand for long hours

able to lift and carry moderate amounts of weight

We want a barista who has good experience at home and abroad for a different coffee culture
